Introduction
As the Product Manager for the Ferrari Customer App, my goal was to develop an exclusive digital platform tailored for Ferrari enthusiasts. This app serves as a comprehensive portal that enhances the ownership experience through a suite of curated services, including maintenance scheduling, direct dealer connections, exclusive events, tailored news, car configuration, and consultations.
Methodology and Framework
Design Thinking & Agile Sprints
To ensure a user-centric product, we adopted a hybrid approach that combined Design Thinking with Agile Design Sprints. This methodology allowed for iterative development and close alignment with user needs and brand values:
User Research: In-depth interviews and surveys with Ferrari owners informed our understanding of their unique preferences and pain points. This research was instrumental in defining user personas and prioritizing features that truly resonate with our target audience.
Stakeholder Engagement: Maintaining regular communication with Ferrari stakeholders ensured alignment with the brand’s objectives and values. This collaboration was essential for innovating while preserving the luxury and exclusivity that Ferrari embodies.
Prototyping and Testing: Using both low-fidelity (LO-FI) and high-fidelity (HI-FI) prototypes, we conducted user testing to validate design concepts.
